Frequently Asked Questions

Are your products handmade? Yes — every one. Olivia & Queen is small-batch, handmade, and independently owned. Each solid perfume, lotion bar, lotion stick, and balm is made by one pair of hands that cares about what goes in the jar. Some pieces I keep in stock and ready to ship; others are made to order in small batches, so they reach you fresh.

What are your products made with? Rich plant butters and oils — shea, kokum, cupuaçu, mango, jojoba, and more — for deep, lasting moisture that absorbs clean and never feels greasy. I lead with the good stuff in meaningful amounts, and use synthetics only when they serve a real purpose, never as filler. Each product listing tells you exactly what's inside.

Are your products cruelty-free? Always. Nothing is ever tested on animals.

How should I store my products? Keep them in a cool, dry place, out of direct sun and away from heat. A quick heads-up on lotion bars and sticks: because they're concentrated butters and oils with no water, they can soften or melt in warm conditions — so avoid leaving them in a hot car or sunny windowsill. For best quality, use within about 6–12 months.

Will lotion bars melt in shipping? They can soften in transit during warmer months, but they firm right back up once they cool. If your order arrives soft, let it rest in a cool spot (the fridge works too) and it'll set again — no harm done.

Do you offer returns or exchanges? Because everything is handmade body care, all sales are final for hygiene and safety reasons. If your order arrives damaged or there's a mistake with what you received, reach out right away and I'll make it right.

A note on skin sensitivities Natural ingredients are still active ingredients. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies — including nut allergies — please review the full ingredient list on each product and do a small patch test before regular use. These products are intended for external use only. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.

How long until my order ships? In-stock items ship within 1–3 business days. Made-to-order items take a little longer since they're crafted fresh in small batches — [add your made-to-order timeframe, e.g. "please allow 5–7 business days"]. You'll always see ship-time details on the product page.

Where do you ship? Within the United States and to Canada. If you're local to the Memphis, TN or Olive Branch, MS area, local pickup is available — just choose that option at checkout.

Do you take wholesale or custom orders? Yes — wholesale and custom orders are available by request. Reach out through the contact form and tell me what you have in mind, and we'll go from there.

How do I reach you? The contact form is the best way but you can also email me at oliviaandqueenhandmade@gmail.com. I read and answer messages myself, so don't be shy.
